Took me three years to decide, and only 4 months from the time I decided until I will have surgery. I guess me reputation of getting into the faces of those at my insurance company has preceded me. I kept reading about the long waits, and the many problems along the way, and I breezed through it all. I am one of the 300 people who have GB surgery done at Stanford Medical Center each year. 8 weeks from today and counting, until I start to get my life back!

We have the same date Aggie!! Congrats and Best Wishes! It's only been 7 months from start to surgery date for me - not too bad - I heard of people waiting a year just to SEE their surgeon, so I can't complain!! I'll be thinking of you on "our" day!! Take Care, Gina
