Yahoo! There you are with your skinny self! Im still the slowest looser around but I have not gained any, whatsoever so I am pleased. Ive been trying to learn to eat healthy and it has actually worked. I no longer want any of the fattening junk I used to think I couldnt live without. Ive lost 104 #'s, so far. My surgeon still has not given me a goal weight so I will just keep on doing what he has told me to do until he tells me otherwise. Ive given myself a goal weight of 150 just based on my height. I have 46 more to go. My only complication, which has been minor, has been low iron. Ive had chronic anemia before I had surgery so thats nothing new. My B12 level is still high, can you believe it! Ive had one series of iron infusions and so far so good. My Vitamin D level is low so Ive had to take a supplement prescribed by my surgeon for that. I do not like milk, still do not like protien shakes so its obvious my Vitamin D level would be low. Ive since learned to love yogurt, so I try to get in 3 a day. My protien level is just fine, which amazes me. I suppose Im getting in enough just from foods now, or my surgeon would have mentioned it. Im still a workaholic, and keep busy at home. I am gonna try not to be a stranger around here anymore. So, tell me how you have been. Still in Louisiana or did Katrina place you elsewhere?

Still in La. I went to plastic surgeon to see about lipo to be able to wear one size clothes instead of having jello roll making me wear tops a size too large for my boobs. The guy wanted to do a thing to remove skin. I told him......... who cares about skin, I want the fat gone.......... so I can wear the right size shirts for my chest...LOL. He told me 12 weeks recovery time.......... I told him forget that.... no way I can do that until June. Anyway, I go with it since I am the same size now as I was in nov 04. So I don't have to buy any new clothes...........lol I am doing ok. My Dr. is not real big on testing stuff I guess.... they never tell me anything. But I will have to have tests done ahead for the surgery. I need to take a new picture, and submit it here. Oh, well, someday!

I need a new picture too. I still hate having my picture taken! Some things will never change...LOL I havent even thought of plastics until I reach goal, then I will go in for a consult and see about a tummy tuck and breast lift. Until then I still buy tops a size too big but Im more comfortable in bigger tops. Im finally in a 16, almost ready for a 14 and that is a major milestone. I havent been under a size 18 since I was in the 5th grade!!! Almost 40 years ago!! Its amazing and shocking...LOL Ive found a protien drink with 51 grams of protien in one can I havent tried them yet, but I have to order online. I cant find them around here. They are called RTD 51. Anywho, GREAT to see you back!!!

I was not thinking of the tummy tuck stuff when I went, just a little liposuction so clothes would fit better. But I have been the same size for 16 months so I guess this is it.............. my final size. Let me know about the protein, where you get it and if it is any good. Hugs, n

Morning my friend! I never thought I would ever see a 16 again, in my lifetime so for me, it is a blessing. If I never loose another pound its still a blessing to me. I no longer take meds, so I save $$$ there. Im in better health overall, feel better, have more energy and best of all can spend quality time with my grandsons and create memories! The RTD 51 for me, I will have to order online. No where around here carries it. Ive been goggling wholesale prices for it and have it narrowed down to 2 companies. For now, I found "Muscle Milk" at Walgreens. 7.99 for 4 ready to drink. Still high but I can tolerate this. The Mocha Java is good since Im a coffee lover and the milk chocolate is good. It has 22 grams of protien per serving, 4 grams of sugar, I think. I know Target sells this in the big powder container but I just prefer the ready to drink versions. I noticed when I increased the protien, and increased the water the pounds started coming off again. Have you tried that? With my job, Im on my feet for 8 hours, and I use the stairs instead of the elevater, (another thing I can do now, I couldnt before) so the stair climbing may have something to do with it too. I want a Gazelle but will have to wait a bit longer for one. I will let ya know about the protien when I find the cheapest supplier. ES
