I could use a friend about now

Well my marriage is falling apart. My oldest child has just informed me that he is thinking about joining the ARMY!!!!! My middle child is add and I think she is getting ready to become a lady if you know what I mean! And My littlest I think he is adhd He NEVER stops And to top it all off I trying to run a small business (store/Pizza ) and it is real slow this time of year. At this point I see old eating sneaking back.I fill like I'm losing my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Jan

Jan, I see old eating habits sneaking back as well. I don't have any ideas for you--I'm still working on them for me. But at least you know you aren't alone. I've always been a stress eater; I don't know how to change that. Best of luck; you will pull through. Just remember that taking care of yourself must be a priority. Linda

I can so relate! My kids are grown and married, I am the proud nanny of 3 boys but I still have days like this too. I have a very stressful job with crazy hours that keeps me up all night. My hubby works days so he gets grumpy when we cant just jump in the car and GO. When I saw old habits sneaking back, I fought them off with alot of fruit, which I used to hate. I found if you freeze grapes, they taste like a mini popscicle. I grab raisins and grate carrotts with a tad of yogurt and fill up on that. I cant eat pizza but I have eaten the topping off one slice and this satisfied me and I throw myself into my job. Two or Three "mini" milky ways would always creep into my mouth, but at least that "taste" would satisfy my cravings. I dont have time to eat if I stay busy. This time will pass. My son was ADD and my daughter extremely hyperactive. I didnt think I would survive their teenage years but went by so fast I almost missed them. Take care of YOU in this process.
