Topic: Nearing goal - looking for something to commemorate it... ? Image changes?
Ladies (& gents! ..) Seeing the "light at the end of the tunnel" these days? What are you going to do when you reach "goal" - to "commemorate" the occasion? Or - have you already done something special? I'd like to make a physical change to my body. Short of getting plastic surgery (which I am going to find a way SOMEHOW of coming up with the funds to pay for a abdominoplasty since I found out it "can be done"...) I thought about a tattoo - buuuut... I may very well have skin moving around. I also don't want to make a impulsive decision and be marked "for life" ya know? I'm thinking a piercing now - since they're totally removable. I'm a big girl now, and I don't have to worry about removing/hiding one for employment purposes - since I am mainly at home and will be for at least two more years... I need some sort of change. I'm getting contacts first off - keeping my glasses for night-use and when I'm too lazy to bother with the contacts, I look much different without "my eyes on" - which makes me feel better. I used to wear them all the time - but got lazy... I keep chopping my hair off - so I was thinking that maybe it's time to grow it BACK? Probably not just yet... but within another year I think I'll attempt growing it out a bit. Maybe it's time for a new color? I always color it various shades of brown. UGH. I need something new! Can you tell I'm frustrated with my frumpy-ness lately!?! So- what are YOU doing? Anything fun to change your appearance? My blood pressure has been very low at times, the lowest was 80/50. It makes you feel like crap. I hope they figure out what's wrong with you. Hang in there. Dianne

No at least 15 pounds to go, maybe more *Gain weight (from increased muscles or just a gain)? no thank God, the way I've been eating I'm surprised I didn't *Inches lost? Where? I haven't been mearsuring *Clothing size changes? My 14's are getting loose *Non-scale victories? I went to OA for the first time. I know I'm a compulsive overeater and I want to take steps to deal with this now before I do gain any weight back. I'm going to keep going. *How many pounds to GOAL? At least 15 for my personal goal of 150. The chart's say the most I should weigh is 140, but I think I will look awful wrinkly at that low weight, I'm looking pretty old and wrinkly now. I have been eating terribly. I have felt totally out of control, eating terrible food's etc. I have to get back in the swing of things next month. I'm going to my sister's today and I'm hoping that will help.

I lied - I was actually at 140 this morning, yay! Had to go potty! TMI? Never! Anyways- Snack- 2 Twist Cheese Sticks 1 oz ham Lunch- Chicken/Spinach/Cheese Sausage Couple bites Green Soybean Pasta in Tomato Sauce Snack- Carb Countdown Strawberry Yogurt 1 scoop VPX Protein Vanilla 1/2C frozen berries Splash skim & ice ... blended Dinner- 1 oz ham 1 oz cheddar 4 bites low sugar granola 1 bite real "white" cheap ass chocolate - followed by dumping! Snack- Iced coffee/light cream/= 1 sugar free chocolate cookie Beth -158, 10 to go!

Hi all! B-1/2 a cup of Koshee Go Lean cereal, 1/4 cup of FF atkins milk coffee with sugar free creamer Lunch-3 ounces of turkey yogurt more coffee later I'll have my protein drink mixed with crystal lite (32 ounces) Dinner- don't know yet I gained a pound back so now I am 154.5 again. I don't feel like I am eating enough, I need to talk to my surgeon about this. I eat my 3 meals no snacks. My meals are between 3-4 ounces. He told me only 3 meals a day and no snacks, I feel like I need to get in more calories to get the rest of my weight off, also I am feeling tired. 283/154.5/140 Mechelle

Well Donna, you would think that what you wrote came almost word for word out of my mouth. I'm sitting at 176 and have been basically stalled since January. Same thing, too many carbs. I'm 5'5" so I can wear a 10/12 in the pants and disgustingly squeeze into an 8 if they are the stretchy jean material. I too have started whining. The wind is blowing and it hasn't warmed up here in my area yet so I can't work out outside yet. I have a bad case of cabin fever and am generally disgusted. I hope you feel better knowing that you aren't the only one! Keep your chin up, it will happen! Tina M R 272/176/136
