Keeping the carbs under 15 is hard. I like chili and it has 30 grams for 1 cup. Last night I ate some grapes and felt bad. I feel like I can't eat anything.

I've been trying to eat a few nuts every couple of hours, that seems like it's helping, but I'm still very tired.

Lori, I just email the volunteer who spruced up my profile if I ever want to add anything, unless I know I can right click on it and copy and paste, then I just do it myself.

Hi Dianna,
I know exactly what you mean..I start getting very dizzy, shakey, light headed.. I keep skittles in my back pack at school and pop a few of them from time to time..
The other day we were checking everyones blood sugar in class( training to be a nurse) ..and I actually felt fine... My blood sugar was 58.. my instructor looked at me and asked me if I was feeling ok.. I said yes,I was ..but some days I get so dizzy and shaky and lightheaded and weak.. and I'll check it and it's 61.. she says 60-120 is within normal but 60 is lowwwwwwwwwwwww.. and I was a 58..
so I know what you mean...good luck..
best wishes,
lisa

Doesn't it feel great!! You should be so proud of yourself!
I have been getting "notices" of my husband cheating on me - low and behold he was cheating with ME ... so many people have not see me enough to have followed my changes & thought he was out with another woman, when I ask what outfit she was wearing (and I supply the info) they are like "Yeah, how did you know?!?" and I say "Thant was me silly!"
This new body can be so much fun!

Topic: RE: More weight gain..
I am going through the same thing....At this point I don't know if I have gained any weight because we are in the process of moving and they packed my scale!! We are moving back to the states and my scale has been gone for 3 weeks. I look at myself in the mirror and put on some of my clothes and they are tight!! I am personally struggling with this. I want to find a scale, but to tell you the truth I am scared of what I might find. I have asked my husband to tell me if he sees any weight gain, but he says it doesn't look like it to him,but of course he sees me everyday. (He didn't even notice that I got to 231 pounds!!) So not much help on that end for me. I know that I am eating more then I did before, but I still eat less all day then some people eat in one meal. Of course after eating so little for over a year it seems that I am pigging out. I do admit that I have had a sweet tooth and can tolerate sweets in a small amount. Of course the other day I ate half of a pop tart and boy did it send me into the dumping syndrome. I was glad to know that was still working, but still worry about what the scale is going to tell. Anyway just wanted to let you know that I too am going through the samething you are......So much fear and anxiety about ever getting fat again is sending me into a tail spin!! Oh I never want to get fat again!!!
Once I do find a scale I will let you know how much damage I have done to myself!!
Take Care
Lori
231/last checked 121....not sure what it is these days
Topic: RE: Hypoglycemia
Hi Dianne....I have had the same problem. I am very very tired, cranky, and no energy. I was sent to see an endocrinologist who then sent me to a dietician. She told me not to eat refined carbs. Not to eat anything under 3 grams of fiber. The higher fiber will stay in your system longer and help with the blood sugar going low. I had a 2 hr glucose tolerance test. It went from 81 fasting, to 151 a 1/2 hr after drinking the orange liquid they give you to 51 an hour and a half after that, which is quite a quick drop. The dietician also said to eat about every 2hrs...not big meals, just something every 2 hrs. I'm still tired a lot, but found my blood sugar isn't going up and down as much as it was. Try to keep most of your meals protein...and I'm to stay away from a lot of fruit. Although if I eat apples, I will dip them in peanut butter, which she said is good because of the protein in it. She also said to keep the carbs 15 grams or under and you subtract whatever your fiber is from the total carbs and that's what your actual carbs per serving are. I wish you luck, I know how hard it is. Stacy
