Awesome comment from my 3rd grade student!!

I work with ESL students and we were talking about astronauts and how they need to be in shpae. What does "being in shape" mean to an ESL student ? So I explained that it means excercising, eating the right foods, not being fat(can understand this concept better than saying not being overweight), and not being too skinny. My student said "You mean like you?" "NOt fat!!" Oh what a wonderful thing to hear. Made my day!!! Mechelle 283/168/140

hi michele, i can realy relate to what happened to you. I do not go one day without someone somewhere paying me a compliment. i actually am beginning to worry that once the compliments stop that i will get upset. I am almost dependent on the compliments each day. but as long as they are coming it gives me encouragement everyday. ...beth -282 lbs
