Discouraged..

Well, this morning I calebrated my scale to match my docs office..basically added five pounds to it. So apparently yesterday I gained...........I don't know....anyway, I am back up to 163....maybe it is weighing me heavy..but maybe that will help me and give me a nice surprise the next time I weigh in at his office? How is that for positive thinking?!! Anyway, back to lean meats and leafy green veggies...nothing else goes in my mouth...no nuts, no philly swirls, no cheese sticks or cheddar...nothing.....................well, I am sure an occasional something will go in...let's be realistic...but I am going to do my best to abide and also.......EXERCISE......I am going to take up roller blading..by Monday I will have a pair on these size 7.5 feet of mine...guaranteed. getting ready to have chicken and zucchini for breakfast. Joan... Good luck with your plan... I hope it works for you immediately... I know how frustrating it is at this very moment... I dropped the cheese like a bad habit for now.... I'm missing it... but I'll deal for a while, ... The lean meat/leafy green combo is awesome, it really does work... it's the Atkins minus the FAT, basically.... I'm sure you're gonna see results... I try doing it that way alot, but I have issues with straying to the high fat meats/cheese/cream only and avoiding lean meats like mad.... I just don't do well with chicken, I don't eat fish/seafood... so it's always like, hmmm...... bacon, cheese, cream sauce, butter, ham!? I love summer squash- I haven't tried since surgery... Mmmmm... on the grill... I hear you on the atkins thing...................my doctor definitely wants and has always wanted lean meats and leafy green veggies only.... BTW, what is KWIM? Also, is your signature line something you type in everytime you send a note....or is it something you can "save?" One more question: is 313 your highest weight/ 298 preop/156 curent/ and 130goal? Thanks...I am just learning about all this lingo. Joan

KWIM is know what I mean... The sig line is something I copy & paste to each post... I use sig lines in my emails... and I copy & paste the more plain ones for this website only... It's highest/surgery date weight/current/goal... You got it. I don't know why I add the highest, because I went higher than that even, I just don't know what it was yet... I'm going to ask my PCP to look in my files.... 298 was a low point for me... so seeing a higher number reminds me why I have all this skin.... :-l beth "How can I have done that?" she thought. Are you weighing in the same thing that you were at the office?? DOn't forge****er fluctuations! My scale varies from Wongsa's differently everytime I weigh, if that is any consolation.... Let me know how the rollerblading goes..I would love to try that, but am afraid I would kill myself or others trying... Janice

Why is it that doctor's scales are ALWAYS higher than mine at home. ALL doctors - every one I've ever been to. It's a conspiracy, I tell ya! Your plan sounds great! I'm sure you can do it.
