I forgot to mention in my ranting...
That it's been one week that we've had the treadmill, and I've exercised a total of 250 minutes on it, which is good, but in that same time frame, I've gained four pounds! This can't be muscles, right? I mean, what on earth am I doing to gain THAT much muscle--- should I stop the protein? Exercise *more? What a game this is!
BTW- For a frame of reference, my husband has been also using the treadmill for the same amount of time this week, and has LOST 8 lbs in 8 days. Why hasn't he gained muscles? See?
