What IS your goal?
I am trying to figure this out. I always said I would KNOW when I get "there". Now I am close to "there" but still not sure where "there" is.
Anyway I am 5'8", female and 41 years old. I started at 330 and am currently at 193. The "charts" say anything from 141-178 lbs. which seems like a huge range to me. I am thinking somewhere around 160 lbs would be nice.
Any suggestions or comments on this topic?

I have no idea! Sorry! My doc didn't give me a number goal, so I'm lost too! I know I have a ways to go at 199 and only 5'3"!!! I picked 135 out of the air, that # seems do-able and is in the normal range for me.
I guess pick on the high side and see what happens! You can always lower your goal!
There are ways to find out your "real" weight with under water weighing, but thats not something I can afford right now.

I think our bodies determine what "there" is...
I'm 5 foot 3.75 (shrinking in height apparently... I thought I was 5 foot 5... ) and my personal goal is 130 lbs. That's the goal I set for myself, although my medically "correct" weight would be lower still. If I can get to 130, I'll work on getting to my ideal weight.
For your height- I'd say aim for 150-160 lbs? You're lucky to have a few extra inches to spare, so 150-160 will look very svelte.
I'm at 158 right now, but I'm shorter so I still look a bit frumpy at this weight.
To be totally honest, I thought for sure I'd NEVER EVER get past 175 lbs and would be content there.... and I also thought that 150 lbs would be my "ultimate dream weight" and a size 12 would be sufficient, and I'd be perfectly content. I'm not. Who knew?! It's wild how our minds work. I guess I'll also know I'm done when I get there--- I'll give it a few more months... I can't wait to be done and maintain.

With clothes on-- I feel practically *normal*... I don't look "fat" at all anymore!
Without, it's a different story... I look horrid. The only normal part of me is my head, collarbones, neck... elbows down and knees down...
I will be happy to see what the next 28 lbs brings, if it helps shrink down what's left.
