Holy Cow! I went to my primary doc's office last week and the woman who has taken my temp and weighed me for the last 5 years didn't recognize me!!! Wow! What a feeling! The other strange thing is, men are looking. I mean big time. I was out with my hubby and in-laws at a club watching a swing band and this really cute guy, about 28 (10 years younger than me!)came up to me and was picking me up...in FRONT OF MY HUSBAND! Lucky for me hubby is awesome. Has anyone else had to deal with this stuff? How are you dealing with it. It's strange, flattering, somewhat uncomfortable and an ego boost at the same time. I don't get the chance to post very often, but it's a real comfort to know you are all here going through the same stuff and always being so wonderfully supporive. Thanks and Happy Holidays!! Hi Jodie! I had the same thing happen at my PCP's office, but they see me every 3 months. The nurses make a big fuss over me. Men look at me...not because I am huge anymore, but because they want to LOOOOOOOOOK at me. My hubby, not the jealous kind, has been getting agitated when he witnesses this. Isn't he cute???? LOL I completely understand about the rollercoaster of emotions you are experiencing over the sudden attention you are getting. I mentioned this to my mother, who had rny 2 yrs ago. Her response....GET OVER IT! LOL She tells me to smile, wink, and say "thank you". As she says...welcome to what beautiful "normal" people experience everyday. Welcome to normalcy, Baby!!! isn't funny when someone you've known forever doesn't seem to know who you are?! What a riot! As far as men go, they are so funny, and flattering..... Have a good time with it, but don't forget to make sure your hubby knows your not giong anywhere! He is quite the patient man letting some guy hit on you and not beating the crap out of him!! Merry Christmas Katie

Hi Katie, Thanks for the words of advice. Yup, hubby is indeed ever patient. When The guy was picking up on me, I just leaned over and asked if he had met my husband Rich? It was a riot!! It never hurts to be reminded to send a little extra love to the sweet, suppotive one. Thanks for reminding me! Merry Christmas!

My hubby is not dealing with it very well! I have lost right at 112 lbs. He does not know what to do! I told him I was going to leave him I would have done it years ago, so he is just stuck with me fat or skinny! hehe Who would have ever thought we would be here!!! Let them look! We earned it! This is hard work!
