HELLO AGAIN MY APRIL FAMILY!
Well,
I just got home from the hospital. My darn gall bladder surgery was worse than the Gastric Bypass. Turns out my GB is Way the heck under my liver which means lots of problems for the surgeon. It took 3 hours and an incision that is approximately 5 inches long. Nurses were horrible this time at the hospital. I couldn't get pain meds for over 3 hours. I'm glad my rny was not that bad. I'm glad to get back home. I missed everyone!
That is too bad! I had my GB taken out exactly 3 months before my RNY & they were able to do it lap ... I was in surgery for an hour & in recovery for an hour - then they sent me home. Wish you could have had the same.
My RNY was much worse, but then again at least it was lap ...
I wish you a healthy & speedy recovery - it took me about 3 weeks to feel normal after the GB surgery - I am sending happy thoughts your way.
Take care!
Sue
