What are you doing with your old clothes?
Okay ladies (& gents if you're here too!)...
I started listing on eBay again. I was pretty active doing it pre-op, but I stopped entirely right before surgery. It occured to me that I won't need these clothes again, so I'm listing some. I've thrown out a LOT of items... donated a pile... and I held onto these things thinking I'd need them... or I was holding them thinking I'd wear them! My mom also gave me a pile of things to sort through and distribute, either on myself, the trash, or eBay. She's got stuff here with tags that she never touched, So, I plan to get those items up too, since I've, umm, undergrew them?! I started slowly, just listed two pairs of jeans... and I'll try to get more on as I can get online time...
This is kind of cleansing, you know!?

Well, my sister (Lucy R.) and I both had surgery...she had hers one month after me and she happens to be smaller than me. Right now the deal is as she shrinks she passes the clothes on to me. As I shrink, some clothes go to my other sister and most go with me to So Cal gatherings during which we have clothing exchanges.
Now currently I am looking into locating the "Welfare to Work" distribution point in my area to send all my business outfits (dresses, slacks, jackets) I have hanging in my closet.
For the first time I'm getting rid of clothes when I get too small for them. My mom, bigger than me, had her surgery a week after I did so I'm passing my things along to her and she's been passing her clothes along to my sister-in-law. It is really freeing! I love having all these empty closets too.
I've done most of my shopping at Target because I don't want to spend much money on clothes until I stabilize my weight and figure out what to do with the extra skin. LOL Then I'm hoping that What Not To Wear will fix me up. :D
