Catching up a little- Century club and mixed weekend
Hello my friends - a little catch up. And I hope to have time to read some posts later and see how all of you are doing. As most of you know, my entire family was here for my 60th birthday and Thanksgiving-my sister left about an hour ago - and then Sherry's mother (in Arkansas) died on Thursday so it was a very mixed day and weekend. We're heading for Arkansas on Thursday for Friday's memorial service as she was cremated. So lots of family stuff both good and awful. In the middle of all of this, I hit the 100 pound mark yesterday. So I am quite happy about this of course. Yesterday, my sister helped me shop for clothing for the funeral as I had to have something by Thursday. I am now in size 14 skirt - and mostly medium tops which is a major triumph for me. My goal is 27 pounds away.
Oh - most of my family was very happy at how well I'm doing - my 19 year old nephew was astounded and told me that he wouldn't have recognized me.
And - I have a bad cold. So I may sound a little disjointed right now.
Love you all - hope all is well.
