new jeans size 16 and NO W in front of the size

Hi all, I finally broke down and went jean shopping, this is kind of hard because I have to take off my leg AFO braces and its just a pain in the neck, anyway I grabbed a 16 pair of regular jeans and THEY FIT!!! I started in a 26 W! I could have gone maybe one size smaller but the hernia next to my belly button prevented it, its really big and needed the extra room. I cant wait to see what size I will get to after my hernia is repaired. Donna 277/198/150
