Firstly, My Pic came in today, Yea! Secondly, today is my 7 month anniversary. As of today, I have lost 129 lbs since my surgery on 4/1/04, and a grand total of 174 lbs since the beginning of my journey last June. My health is GREAT! My energy and stamina are GREAT! I am taking life as it comes, one day at a time. I am continuing to lose around 10-14 lbs a month which makes me minorly nervous. . .I think I'm going to blow past my Body Analyst (Dr Dan Carey) goal of 212. Hopefully I'm not going to end up on the underweight side. . . that'd be very strange to me. According to the OH website loss planner I'm ahead of schedule for a 100% loss (which is WAY smaller than the moderate goal my Dan Carey set for me). I guess I'll get there when I get there. They say its more of a risk for people who are working out, and I am one of those. I'm happy and sassy, and no matter how hard bad days are I am SO GRATEFUL that I have chosen this path. This is hard work, but its SO worth it. I am thankful to all who have supported me on my journey. , ~Lara 400+/355/226/212

Angela- Were you a "lightweight" to begin with (like under 275 lbs to start)? I haven't looked at your profile yet, but a lot of times the rate of weight loss has to do with how much needs to come off, KWIM? A heavier person with more to lose generally loses more faster... and men also seem to lose much faster! If not, are you eating plenty of protein and drinking water (I'm a bad example for this, but it's good advice! )... I've been slacking big time in journaling my food intake and counting my protein, carbs and water... but I would normally aim for 50 grams of protein, under 20 grams of carbohydrates and 64 oz of decaf liquids. The calories usually fall around 1000... most days lower, some days much higher. I never count fat grams, but I should because I tend to pick higher fat protein food (aka CHEESE!) Post again!
