how many calories do you get a day?
Donna, food wise I get in maybe 400-500 caleries..If I add a protien shake in then maybe 600 caleries. I eat about 4 TBS at each meal....2 meals a day. If I eat breakfast it is a protien shake...but remember my surgery was in May. My weight loss is 72 lbs...Which has stalled for about 3.5 weeks. But I have lost 9 inches during this time. yipee...so I don't mind the plateau.

Donna, typically that is ALL I can eat...I don't like a heavy feeling in my pouch. Dence foods do that to me. I get most of my protien in, in the for of my shakes. Mexican cheese sauce I can probably eat a half cup. Wendy's chilie almost a half cup...but for the most part only about 4 TBS MAX. I usually don't snack iether as I used to be a grazer and I think if I had snacks on top of meals I would NEVER stop doing that and then a year out or so I would be back to grazing again. Now If I do snack it is usually on a plum...tonight I had a tsp of cream cheese, tsp refried beans
tsp of chedder cheese and tsp rotel. mixed all up and nucked in microwave....that was YUMMY, and very filling. I got my mexican fix in and actually it seemed like quite a bit. I also dont use anything to dip my dips in..like chips or crackers. I take the back of my spoon and touch the dip lightly and then lick it off. You would be suprised how long it takes to eat something like that liking the backof a spoon, thus making me FEEL like I have eatin a lot as it took so long to eat. It is so funny how everyone has there little tricks on how to fool our minds and body's to help us get to goal. But whatever works for everyone is great, as long as we al get there, right?

I average between 500-700 calories a day, some days it goes higher, but that's usually due to something I wasn't supposed to eat.
I aim for 50 grams of protein and 64 oz. of liquids, as for calories, I don't know, I'm trying to figure out a happy medium for losing weight again.
I've lost 119.5 lbs since surgery, and I'm trying to get off a week + plateau. I'm stuck at 178.5- and actually saw the scale go UP and back down this week. I just want something predictable, you know? I'd like to see a loss each week, not just these weeks of a big loss then NADA for a few weeks..
