Went for six month check up today....

Went for my six month check-up today (surgery date 4/20/04)....I'm down 73.5 pounds and feel GREAT..... Went from a size 24 pant to a somewhat loose size 18 pant..... Doc said I looked great and to keep up the great work...scheduled to see him in six months for the annual check-up - hope to be at my personal goal of 170 by then, however, doc said he's happy if I reach his goal of 190...... HAPPY - HAPPY to all, those of us that have been approved for this surgery should consider ourselves blessed.... Have a great day everyone... Nancy

Hi Nancy. I just went to your profile page and read your story. I also saw your pics. Wow! You really have changed a whole lot! I'm so happy for you. I too feel so blessed to have had this surgery. It made the difference between life and death.....literally... for me. I am almost at my 6 month annie. I've lost over 60 lbs and am cancer free! Yay! Let's keep on keeping on. Peg
