OUR MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORT
Ok another month has past by. It's now October beginning our 6 month anniversary. How are we all doing so far?
I'm doing great. I've finally conquered the scale addiction. I've tried not to weight since the 10th of September. I did go to my pcp and he weighted me so technically I didn't cheat on that one. I'm now about 230lbs with a total loss of 109lbs. I still don't get enough protein in but I keep trying. My chili obsession has now returned. (went away after eating so much of it in the beginning). I still find steak impossible to eat without hacking it up. Meat just feels heavy on my wittle bitty pouch. I prefer eating a salad. It's light and doesn't make me feel overly miserable. My exercise is NOT what it should be. Moving for me is fantastic though. Going from barely able to walk with a cane and I can now walk without much of a problem. I still have pain in my joints, knees etc.. with the osteoarthritis and the fibromyalgia but it's soooo much better than it was. I now can wear a size 20 HOOORAHHH!!!! (I think I've drop some more weight but I won't know til I get the official on the 12th of this month which is my anniversary). I think by the 12th I should have lost somewhere between 115-120lbs. I was hoping for more but what the heck. I'm looking good if I do say so my dang self. LOL I'm actually having men flirt with me. I forgot how that feels. I get my bloodwork done this month and visit Dr. Bonanni to see how I am stacking up on nutrition. And on that note I'll quit boring you guys with my dribble.
Please let us know how you are doing.

Hooray! BTW- it's not dribble- we love seeing posts!
I bet you're excited!
We share a goal size and a food obsession. Now, please tell me to stop obsessing over the sour cream and cheese I add to it. :-x Salad is also the easiest thing for me to eat, because it doesn't make me feel full like proteins do.
Good luck at your 6 month post-op app't.

I forgot to add my report!
I'm officially six months out today...
I'm down 114 since surgery on April 5th, from 298 to 184. Down a total of 129 since pre-op loss.
I've gone from a 26/28+ to a 14/16 bottom and L/XL top. Depending on the style or brand, it varies...I've been wearing a lot of pants from the juniors section, in 15's and 17's... tops are mostly L's right now, I buy every 3/4 length top I can find cheaply, to hide my arm flappage! I've gone from a 46C bra to a 38B, I'll be an "A" before long...
Things have changed dramatically, people look at me normally now, they don't even consider that I was the size I *WAS* anymore... when I got sick this weekend (hubby called an ambulance because we thought for sure my intestines had ruptured or something ) I told the EMT's they wouldn't be able to LIFT me... they looked at me like I was crazy! I was certain they wouldn't! One of the men looks at me and says "Why wouldn't we??" I'm like- "Umm... I'm not 300+ lbs anymore?? Oh yeah..."
I'm getting the eyeball from menfolk now, of course it's kind of cool, but I *am* married- ... although he enjoys seeing that other guys have shown an interest....and since he's also post-op, he's turning into a hottie too. Both of us have BTDT, since we have been together thin & obese... he's previously lost 100+ lbs while we were together, so I know the potential. We're thinking about opening a savings acc't for plastics this time around though... :-x He wants a tummy tuck, and I want a full overhaul.
I've got my bloodwork app't on the 19th... that will be interesting to see...
182 days until one year out, that's my "goal" date... I altered it... it doesn't seem like impending doom anymore..

I weighed yesterday after coming back from a 2 week vacation. I'm now down 123 pounds total going from 376 to 253. I didn't eat as good as I should have when I was traveling, was hard to get all my liquids in and sometimes not many good choices available but I was very happy with an 8 pound loss!
The exciting thing for me was finding out on the plane I did not need a seatbelt extender!!!
I also was able to walk more and have more stamina.
