I was just updating my email signatures--- with my husbands stats and mine, regarding our losses... we've lost a total of 231 lbs together! It had been a while since I changed it, because I've been so frustrated with my slow weight loss... but it looks SO much better when you look at how much is LEFT to lose! It's nothing compared to what we've lost already! I've got exactly 60 lbs left (that won't happen until plastic surgery, because I've got "balloon valances" on my belly left and tube boob socks. ) If I lose all of the remaining 60 lbs, I'm gonna be "one hot mama"... or at least a very close facsimile! I may not ever see 130 (that's the "goal") it may very well be smaller than I envision. My husband has 77 to go, as his goal is about 175. He's really starting to look different, I pulled out our honeymoon pix from 1998 and WOW--- what a difference! My "goal" date was to be January 1st, 2005, which is 99 days from today, but that's stretching it a bit, I know losing 60 lbs in 99 days is a lot to ask from my body... since my losses are so slow. I think I'll alter that goal so that I'm not let down so much when it doesn't happen. Anyways- thought I'd share. Beth CW- 190....down 123, 60 to gooooal!

Beth, you and your husband are amazing! I'm so happy for you! And being down 123 lbs all on your own is so fantastic. I bet you are able to do all kinds of things you couldn't do before. Even the 60 lbs I have lost has made a huge difference. I can't imagine what losing TWICE that weight must be doing for you! I'm so glad you shared. Do keep us posted on your successes. God bless. Hi Beth, What do you mean your losses are slow? You've lost 123 lbs in less than 6 months! That is like 20 lbs per month - almost a lb a day! When you think of it like that, you are speedy gonzales compared to most folks! Since our weight loss supposedly slows a little after 6 months (according to some), maybe a realistic goal for you would be to reach your goal by your 1 year anniversary date? Either way, you ARE going to make it, girl! I'm really proud of you and would love to know what you've been eating. I think I need a "food check" and you've been quite successful. Come on, what do ya eat? Ronda

Hiya Ronda... I've lost 123 since preparing for surgery... I had to lose a few lbs to have it done... I'm down about 105 since surgery. I started adding it in to make it look better, since I did lose those pounds on my own, lol. I'd love to see my goal by 1 year--- that's not so far away! Beth

Wow! I had my surgery 4 days before you, and I've only lost 60 lbs! I have 56 to go. I guess it helps when your husband is doing it, too. I don't work out regularly, either. Keep doing so great!!! You're an inspiration.
