What's going on?
I'm almost 6 months out and my weight loss has stalled. UGH! I know I just need to be patient but gawl dang it, it is hard. I've been between 221 and 223 for 2 weeks now.
I need some encouragement, friends. I'm working out 3 times a week and eating right, I think.
On the bright side, I feel great! I have energy and fit into clothes I haven't been able to wear in a long time! I'm trying to concentrate on the positive here.
Have a great day!

Ronda,
I don't know what to suggest, but I can tell you, a lot of us are right there with you in the same boat!
Perhaps share a typical day of eating with us?
Are you getting your liquids in?
Did you just start working out? (Muscles weigh more than fat!)

Hi Beth,
Thanks for the support! Today I ate:
Breakfast - Oatmeal
snack - NECTAR protein drink
Lunch - 2-3 oz tuna fish (plain out of the can , no mayo, etc.)
snack - lowfat microwave popcorn (2 cups) - oops
Dinner - 2 oz Chicken - grilled; banana - 1 large
According to FitDay that is 712 calories; 75g carbs; and 64g protein.
What do you think?
Ronda
Hey Ronda,
I feel for you...I was stalled for 3 weeks...it was making me nuts. When I read Dianne reached the Century mark I asked her how much protein and how many calories she was getting in...she gave me some great info. This week I have up'd my protein from 60g to 75g...trying to get 80g and calories up to 800. This little change and three days and I am proud owner of another -3lbs loss...at least it is going down again.
Good Luck!
Thanks "Classy Ma" I like yours too!
I came by my name honestly. My family has been teasing me for years because I've become so forgetful. It is really bad and it is mainly because of some anti-depressant medication I take. I have been able to get off of all my other meds except that - darn it anyway!
Anyway, I thought it suited me now in more ways than one!
Have a great day!
Ronda
Hi Ronda, Stay focused on the bright side, it has so much to offer! I still don't weigh, so I haven't been frustrated once by a plateau. You are doing things right, and your body is probably just having a readjustment period. Have you been measuring? I think its a much better gauge than that darn old scale.
Take care darlin'
