How to change your name on here

I wish someone would tell me how to do this so I can get my name off of this site and use another name without erasing my entire profile.

oh.. oh.... I know ... I know! 1) go in to update your profile 2) go to general info 3) scroll down to your name 4) change your name ( don't use any special characters like ' or ") 5) go to the bottom and click "Update my profile" 6) then click the bar on the next screen that indicates you are done (I can't remember the exact words) 7) you will then get an error message - don't panic 8) hit your backspace key twice 9) then click on update my profile again That should do it!
