Hi Pete, i am doing pretty good, i have been walking 2 miles each day, not sure what i will do once the snow starts to fall but I will handle that when I get to it, I am down 69 pounds and feeling pretty good, my iron is low so i have to take some little black pill to get it back up. also I have gone through my closet and drawers and had to remove over half my clothes, they are just way too big. I found a bathing suit on clearance, size L.... no XXX anywhere on it. its just a little too big but not for long. Hope everyone else is doing well Donna

I am doing Fine as well - I had my surgery on 20 April and have lost 69 pounds - I am still not exercising as I should be - Am going to work on that this week. My life is better and better every day - I am drinking four protein shakes a day - and eating two meals a day - trying to focus on my protein intake - it has helped - it is easy to get stuck on the carbs and I loose less that way. I'm still here! Its definitely a transient community (or more likely a lurker community). The right thread can tempt a few of our friends into posting. There are quite a few that I haven't heard from in a long time though. Hope we hear from everyone soon! Take care, Rachel

Doing great, Had the adjustable band 4/23/04- have lost a total of 46 pounds not as fast as you RNY but I feel good about it. I guess I hardly come here cause at first I was looking for people who had similar surgery as myself. But know I'm looking for people that are at the point we are. Done the surgery know what to do. Find ways to keep up the motivation and living with it. I would like to hear more from this board about how people are coping at this stage.

Hi Pete - I'm still around but I don't read or post every day. I'm doing very well - my asthma feels gone right now and I'm wearing 18s and 16s instead of 3x- 24/26. Even some L shirts. (not pants)- I'd say for an old woman (59) life is spectacular. Ruth

Hi I don't post much because sometimes I feel ashamed that I am losing more slowly than others. I started at 288 and now am at 217, started at size 28+, now am in 16's (stretchy of course). Hope all is well with the rest of you Apriler's. Lea

Ok, I'll bite...had my Lap RNY 4/16 and have lost 120 lbs to date. I still have quite alot of difficulty finding things to eat, and my surgeon keeps threatening to do a dilation if it doesn't improve. I would love a tummy tuck right now, as the skin is driving me insane. I have had to begin taking Nexium as I produce WAY too much acid and I feel like I am dying. Otherwise, can't complain. I haven't been this thin since right out of high school. I think everyone else around me is starting to get jealous that I am on my way down, and they are on their way up!! Best wishes!
