ONE-DERFUL!!
wow beth that's wonderful! we started out about the same weight but wow how did you do it so fast? i feel crazy right now. i'm happy for you but what's the deal how are all these people losing so fast? i had proximal rny is that the problem do we lose slower? anywhoo, God bless on your continued success.
Classy,
I don't know what the difference is with the surgeries, all I know is that I had a LAP RNY, I don't know what version. It's funny, I thought it was going so slowly! It's hard when there are so many variations with loss--- and noone really to compare it to in real life. My husband is following my pattern basically, he's 20 lbs. behind me in losses, and 5 weeks after me.
I don't know if my diet relates to my loss, but I eat only proteins and limited carb-containing sauces, etc.
BR- 5 slices bacon, or 1 string cheese, or cottage cheese
1/2 hour after- Coffee with cream
LU- leftover meat, or sliced deli turkey, etc, maybe some lettuce or beans
1/2 hour after- Iced Coffee with cream
DI- whatever protein I make for dinner, (eg. ground beef in homemade sauce, salisbury steaks, thin sliced beef, turkey, shredded chicken in BBQ...) Perhaps a few bites of a low-carb veggie if I can fit it.
1/2 hour after- Crystal Light
If I snack, it's nuts, black olives, sliced meat or cheese.
That's it. It's not perfect, but I hate getting sick and stick to what I know works. I try hard not to graze, but it happens... I cannot be in the same house as chips of any kind. Sugar-"free" foods make me sick. Real sugar doesn't, unless it's more than one or two bites. I am not attempting it though... it's a bad deal.
HTH.
Beth
