Weight update...

I'm down 83.5 lbs!!!! Welcome to One-derland! Today I bought a dress for a wedding this evening and it was a size 14!! Everyone was soooo complimentary at the wedding and were just blown away - a couple of people who I've known for 8 years but haven't seen in the past year didn't recognize me and were asking my husband who I was! :D It was especially great to see that *glint* back in dh's eyes. Don't get me wrong, he was always there for me, loved me and accepted me no matter what my weight but there was a difference there - and hey, I am definitely easier on the eyes these days. Congratulations Aylene!!!! My surgery was April 5, 2004. I have lost 84 lbs thus far. I feel like it would have been more, but had to stay in hospital off and on for the last 4 weeks. Just the fluids in IV form made me gain 12 lbs. Keep up the fantastic job you are doing......... God bless you Dodie

Aylene, Thanks for sharing your postive out look on life. It is very encouraging to see everyones lives taking turns for the better. I know what you mean about the DH...mines got the glint too. I feel like we're dating again! Rachel
