Monthly Progress Report
Okay here goes... Surgery was 4/14 and I started at 272. I'm down 75 lbs to 197. Wahoo Onederland! It's been 22 yrs since I've been below 200. Last month I averaged about 4 lbs a week and this month it's only a couple. Hope it picks up again. I have short hair, so don't notice as much hair loss. There is some in the drain tho. The next very best part is my blood sugar has been running between 100 and 110 in the am. (It was around 200 before surgery and that was on my meds!)
Good luck to everyone!!! And keep posting..

272/197/140?
HI FELLOW APRIL LOSERS!
My drop has also slowed - but as long as the needle on the scale is heading in the right direction, I am hap hap happy! As of this AM I am down 117 pounds...I have a co-worker that weighs 120 - so I joke that I have almost lost her!
I start everyday with 35-40 grams of NECTAR protein (I mix a few flavors in with crystal light) - I fill it with ice & munch it all the way to work,
Lunch varies - today it was shrimp with lobster sauce with a few bites of rice. I may eat the egg drop soup for afternoon snack, or usually save iit for lunch the next day. For snack I usually keep a power crunch bar around (13 G protein) - A few days a week I eat a can of albacore tuna (37.5 G Protein). Dinner is a salad, a few bites of what teh family may be eating, or I just pop a lean cuisine without carbs. I also eat tons of sugar free popsicle brand popsicles and also EXCERCISE!!! I TRY & WALK A FEW MILES ALMOST DAILY, AND I GO TO THE POOL AND SWIM 20 LAPS OR SO... It is amazing that I love excercise so much!! But it's true!!
I hope all of your journey's are going well, and I hope to see everyone in November at the DC OH event!!
