update on me , dehydration and burning in my pouch

Well gang, I got my IV fluids and an esophagogastroscopy today. It appears that I have two areas, one at the bottom of my esophagus and one in my pouch itself, that are severely inflamed and are on the way to developing into ulcers. My surgeon put me on Carafate four times a day to go along with the 40 mg of Nexium a day and Reglan 10 mg four times a day. I am just really glad that there's no blockage or stricture there and I really hope and pray that this fixes my problem. Thanks to everyone again for all the prayers and support. Rachel, We had our surgery the same day! You have a few pounds on me! I am donw 48 now. I have had some major complications I am just now getting back into life! I have a real issue with hydration. I just can't get enough in. I have been back in the ER more than I can count for IV's Hope that you are feeling well today!!
