Wouldn't it be nice to have a monthly weight in just to keep up with the progress of everyone. I would love to know how everyone else is doing. Please tell me how we are doing. Starting weight 339/263lbs as of today. Progress: I still have a seroma that has opened 3 times now, going to the Dr. tomorrow to see what he will do. I am able to eat most things except Red meat which I love but I will continue to try it. I exercise 3 times a week and know I should do more.

How my Dr. explains it to me is that I have a small sinus or space from the surgery. The body has a way of filling this up with fluid or seroma. The seroma is also what you had draining from your jackson pratt. It's basically just a fluid buildup. Either the body will absorb it or it will work it's way out. Mine just hasn't healed. He thinks it may be caused by an irritated stitch and he may have to go in and remove it. I'll find out today when I visit him what he is going to do.

Eeeewwww! You poor thing! I'm so sorry you're having to put up with that. I had laproscopic so I didn't have any drainage tubes (thank the Lord for small favors). I hope it heals soon so you can get on with enjoying the fruits of your labor!!! Best of luck, Donna - you deserve it! Ronda
