Hair Loss? How Many April-ers are losing it?
Mine is really starting to fall out and I don't have much to spare. I am going to try Nioxin or Rogaine - I spoke to a bariatric nurse who said that WLS patients don't have to worry about stopping as the reason for hair falling out is temporary. I have to shop. I take biotin - and have to get some zinc which I heard is helpful.
It worries me.

I had surgery on april 5th and I have noticed my hair is coming out by the handfuls and the bad thing is my hair is already very thin. My doctor told me to get all of my protein in (which I was not doing but I am now) or it will all fall out and never grow back in. I am so worried I am going to be bald.
Surgery date 4/13/04 and I started noticing last week that I seem to be losing a little hair, not handfuls or anything. I've always had hair that was basically too thick so I'm actually enjoying it thinning out a little, much more manageable! I'm going to keep focusing on my protein and hope that it stops falling out on its own within a few weeks/months.
