Hey April 28 Post ops

Hey April 28ers. I hope you don't mind if I join your group. I had my surgery April 27th. Close enough? Mine was for stomach cancer, and I also had my gallbladder removed. It was open surgery-a modified RNY where they removed 9/10 of my stomach. They believe they got all the cancer. Needless to say, I really need a support group, but it's been hard to find. I'm still healing, but I started back to work 3 weeks ago, and I am down 40 lbs! I wish you all well. Peg

Hi Sharon. I just got your post. Thanks for letting me tag along with the 28ers. I appreciate your prayers. I do have a strong faith in God, and I am now down 53 lbs since surgery. I'm not setting any speed records, but I am slowly plugging away. Hope all is well with you. God bless. Peggy

Hey Tracey sorry to hear you are having problems but you are doing great just think 60lbs gone forever. I don't have much energy either but I try to force myself. I drink four protein shakes a day and try to eat a little something later. But all we can do is hang in there. Sharon

I haven't been on the message boards in a while!! I also had surgery on April 28th and I can't believe how much better life has been! I am the smallest I have been right now than when I was in High School! I started at 317 on 4/26 and today I am at 250.5!!! Down 66.5 lbs!! What a miracle journey this has been and I am really looking forward to the future!! Congratulations to everyone and I wish you much more success!! Stacy
