Hi, I'm a DS patient who had surgery On April 15th. I notice that most all the posters are RNY. Are there any DS out there? Bonnie

Toni, Thanks for the reply. I was beginning to think I was the only DS on this site. I've lost 49 pounds since April 15th. I had a long 3 week plateau, but it finally started in again. I've had no complications, either. I can eat anything! Smaller amounts, of course, but enough to satisfy me just fine. It is so great to not have to worry about every bite I put in my mouth. I started at 277 and am at 228 today. Lots of luck to you. Bonnie PS... Not to sound dumb, but what is M&M? Mine was called GRDS.

We started out almost the same - I started out at 285 - how tall are you, I am 5' 1". I love not having to worry about what I eat, I also love eating off a Saucer instead of a plate!!!! The procedure is Magenstrasse and Mill/DS. Basicly my stomach was split in the same place most DSer's are removed. I only have a Channel that is used (it is the same size of what is normally left). Not many people have heard of it, including myself. And even on the web, there is very limited info on it. Toni
