HELP! I think I'm eating too much....
Hi Ronda!
I've heard that eating any longer than 20-30 minutes is considered "grazing" and is a very bad habit to begin. I'm sure that this one instance isn't going to sabatoge your weight-loss efforts. Don't worry too much over this.......we are all just learning how our new tummy's work!
Here's a suggestion........cut the sandwich in half and put half in the fridge and half on your plate. Eat half of it over a 20-30 minute time period at lunchtime and walllah!.....you also have your dinner in the fridge just waiting to be reheated.
Shelli
Thanks Shelli,
My doctor keeps telling me to take 30-45 minutes to eat. Very confusing when your doc tells you something different than everyone elses. I think I'm going to try your suggestion and see how it goes though. Like you said, we are all just getting used to our new tummies - gotta find out what works.
Thanks again,
Ronda
Dear Ronda,I had GBS on April 7,2004.Ive wondered too if I was eating too much or not.I can pretty much eat whatever i want, and i can eat about 3-4 ozs. at a time.It seems like Im always eating, but I think Its better if we eat more often, but less amounts.I usually take about 15-20 mins.to eat 3ozs.Maybe you could try measuring out 3-4ozs.and only eating that much, then wait a few hours to eat a little more.I also agree that drinking all your water is important. It seems to fill me up.Just keep up a positive attitude and good luck! consuela.
