can anyone relate

mate problems i'm having problems with my boyfriend i think he is jealous. i have lost 63lbs since my surgery date and now i must admit that i do wear more youthful clothes that are in style now. i must admit there more men looking at me now and some that have known me for years are now trying to hit on me. i have told him not to worry about that i'm in love with him and we have be together for the last 7 years. we are engaged to be married 06/04/2005. he has been by my side thru all of my weight stages big,bigger,biggest and huge and has loved my the whole time. he didn't won't me to have the surgery but after going to some support session he became ok with the surgery. what can i say or do to help him understand he is the only one for me?

I'm sorry you are having problems. I don't have a boyfriend now. My ex-husband left me when I began to gain weight. It sounds like he is afraid he is going to loose you, I would just try and keep reassuring him that he isn't. Hang in there. Dianne

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE

I can relate my guy is going through the same issue with my clothes. I explained to him the reason I never wore the knee length skirts is because I couldn't, but I reassure him that he has been with me through my trials and tribulations and I am not going anywhere. The problem was I heard one of his friends tell him that I was looking good and he became jealous but we have been ok since that time. hope this help good luck.

Jennifer, I agree with Dianne, keep reasurring him. Let him know how loved he has made you feel by accepting all your "stages" and loving you for who you are not how you looked and you need him to continue to do that.
