My regimine:
I take 2 flinstones chewables (no iron since i am post menapausal. . .yes at 26)
I take 2 actigall capsules (one in the am, one in the pm, I swallow them whole)
I take calcium only if I haven't gotten enough in my day at night (my dr scared the bejesus outta me with regard to kidney stones. So I try to get 16 oz of milk, and a serving of cheese in every day and then not worry about it.)
Once a month I take a b-12 shot of 1cc in the fat of my tummy. (GOOD STUFF!)

Hi, I take vista vitamins they are made for gartric patients. they are suppose to have Everything in them including iron. The tough part is that they are as big as tums and you have to take 5 a day. First you take the chewables for as long as you feel nessesary and then the capsules 8 a day 4 am and 4 pms but there are not that big. I think it averages about 84 cents a day.
thats my story and I am sticking to it..................Barb only down 24 lbs in almost 5 weeks out
The support group I go to had a person from Resource a Novartis company (Walgreen distributer) to talk about products that are formulated for bariatric patience. They have an excellent vitamin that covers everything you need.
You have to take it 4x a day but you do not have to take anything else. The vitamin is called OPTISOURCE and it
taste much better then Flintstones. It runs about $25 for a 30 day supply.
According to the there is a web site www.resource.walgreens.com but could not find it but did on www.walgreens.com. Here is the write up on it
* Specially formulated for use after bariatric surgery.
* Natural and artificial flavor.
