Any 4/20 folks out there?

Just wondering how everyone is doing? I am good. Never expected to feel so good at this point. Tolerating my diet well. Once I get my knee injected it will be easier to walk but I think I am doing okay with activity. Hope you all are doing good too. Laurie

HI Laurie...I also had my surgery on April 20th. I was doing good but the second week I developed a stricture. It should be fixed by next week. I am doing good my losing is going kind of slow, I am down 27 lbs but I am still happy. I am still on liquids due to the stricture but hopefully soon I will be able to EAT something. Hi Laurie, Greg form PA, everything is well here also ... glad to here things are the same for you ...I joined the gym at the hospital at the start of week 3 now at nearly 4 weeks post op I'm down around 40#. I wish you continued success! I'm hoping to be releases for work at my next Doc visit. Greg

Hey! 47lbs is amazing. You should be proud of yourself. I had the surgery on 4/23. I am down 30lbs. Keep up the good work

I had my 4-week check-up yesterday, and I've lost 29 pounds. The Dr. said that I can now eat almost anything (except the obvious). I had my first salad and it was soooo good! I can easily walk for 2 miles (I just wish the weather wasn't so hot & humid--I'm in D.C.)
