help - nausea @ 5 weeks
Has anyone else had this problem? I had surgery on 4/7/04. Everything has been going GREAT! I've lost 25 lbs , no complications, et****il Saturday. I felt very faint and dizzy and then threw up (well actually dry heaves - nothing in there). The weird thing is I had not eaten when this happened so it couldn't be dumping could it? The only thing I did differently that day was - um -- have sex.
Can that cause such a reaction? Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Ronda
Rhonda,
We have the same date!!! 4/7/04..I had nausciousness too, mine was yesterday (Monday) at 2 am, woke me up, I had drive heaves too, but I just couldn't figure it out. I hadn't eater anything new either. I see my dr. on Thursday and I plan to ask him about it. I was miserable yesterday. I will be glad when I like food again, because I sure don't right now. How about you?

Hi Deborah,
Thanks for your reply! Nice to know someone with the same date! I did check with my Dr. and he said just what Diane said (thanks Diane) - low blood sugar. He said that any concentrated physical activity right now could cause that since we are not taking in very many calories. He suggested taking in a carb boost after and "extra activity", like orange juice or something to get the blood sugar level back up. Although it sounds as if yours was not from activity - weird. Let me know what your doc says.
I know what you mean about the food. I am not interested at all. I have to make myself eat. Wow, never thought I'd hear myself say that!!
