full liquid question....

can we have egg drop soup and/or wonton soup (minus the wonton) on full liquids? thanks RAE

I was told I could only have sugar free popsicles, low sodium broth, and water. That was considered liquid. I hope this can help you.

I read somewhere that egg drop soup is ok on a full liquid diet(after gastric bypass surgery). I had it when I was on full liquids and have done fine....good source of protein. sue

It should be okay, you can have pureed soups on full liquid so egg drop and/or wonton soup should be okay just so long you don't have to chew anything. The person that listed jello, popsicles, etc. is confused. Those items are included in a clear liquid diet, not full liquid, which is the go between before you get back to a regular diet.
