Finally Approved, Surgery 4/30!!!!

I can't believe it, I was so certain that my surgery date was going to be rescheduled because I hadn't heard back from my insurance company yet.....But then today I call for a status update and they say i'm approved!!!!! I can't seem to stop smiling. This almost makes the month long pre-op liquid diet worth it! To everyone else waiting for approval, one thing I learned is that you really need to keep up with them. They are in no hurry to help you or notify you, so make sure you call atleast every other day and ask for a status update. Im sure I wouldn't know for a week yet if I was approved if I hadn't called today. Ok, off to have my liquid breakfast.....
