My surgery date is 04/22/04, at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale,AZ. I am excited but scared. I have been preparing myself for this long journey and my rebirth and I am ready. Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts. this message board is awsome and the support is wonderful.
Congratulation on your surgery date the emotions you are feeling are quite normal so hang in there and think positive attitude is everything. I too will be having my surgery in about 12 days. So I know what your going through my prayers are with you I know you will do well....Aloha

we have the same date!!! I too am excited and scared......I can't wait until I am on the other side. I know that God is with me and that is the only way I can stay sane.......I will pray for you too.

Goodmorning, I will be praying for you too. I could hardley wait for this time to come, (its been along haul) and now I am ready. I started thinking about WLS in February of last year. Now its a reallity. Have a great surgery day.
You bet, I have a prayer group going right now and each time I see a new name a add it to my list. Plus I have my Mom who is old fashioned and has a candle going for all of us about to have surgery this month. Your right about the win -win.
