I am coming up on my next stage of liquids in a few days. I need help coming up with new and improved ways to eat. I have been on clear since the surgery which was a week ago today and am in hopes of getting the go ahead to do pureed foods and add skim milk and such things like that... I don't mind the liquid part but different flavors and textures would be great...can I get a group mailing of everyones favorite recipes that they used just a week out ...I need HOPE hehe. thanks everyone, take care and hope you are having a GREAT day!

Here's one that sounded particularly yummy to me. You may need to blend the fruit to make pureed enough... The orange jello stuff... 1 pint small curd cottage cheese 1 box sf orange jello 1 small tub cool whip (think its like 12 ou?) 2 cans mandarin oranges drained 1 can crushed pineapple drained stir the powdered jello in with the small curd cottage. Stir in the drained mandarin oranges and pineapple... Add whipped cream... frig ... yum

Hey...as you can see, I'm collecting too. Kelly wright posted this one the other day 3 ice cubes 6 oz. milk or water (I used Milk- made it creamy) 2 T. light regular or strawberry cream cheese 1/4 t. almond extract 4 whole frozen strawberries (no added sugar) 1 scoop of your vanilla or strawberry protein powder A few packets of splenda or equal if you like it sweet like me! Blend everything until very smooth....... and enjoy! Such a nice change from just gritty protein powder mixed like water that we had to have in clear liquid stage! Note: next time, I am going to cut recipe in 1/2 because it made too much for me to have at one sitting..... or you can keep the rest in your blender and put in the freezer then blend again when ready for more!
