April 15th

Hi Everyone. I just found this board. I had been posting to the Missouri board, I didn't realize there was a specific board for April Surgery. I'm having mine April 15th. I can't wait. I'm so excited. Trying to figure out what I'm going to eat, etc. I love reading all the posts. Is anyone going to be at Barnes on the 15th? Dianne

Hi Diane.... I'm from Maryland but my date is also the 15th!! I know what you mean about being excited, but I'm also very nervous....almost wi**** were over already, at least then these butterflies I feel in my stomach won't have room to fly!! Good luck next week! Betty

I'm nervous too, but have been doing a meditation everyday which has been helpful. I read on the internet that people who meditate prior to surgery use 45% less pain medicine (so obviously they have less pain) which has to be good!! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Dianne
