Hi Dana. I'm having mine on the 21st. Last week I was scared and nervous, today I'm just excitied. I think we'd be abnormal if we didn't feel everything we're feeling. I'm sure after my Tues upper GI and preop testing and the Surgeon telling me what all he expects to do to me I'll be back to being scared again. Two weeks and two days just doesn't seem like enough time to put everything together that I need to do. So hang in there!

Hi Dana, We all go through this and it helps to know that other people are feeling the same way. It is such a rollercoaster of feelings. Scared, excited, nervous, and happy for the new life. I have my surgery on April 20th and I know that it feels like I have so many things to get before surgery. I have also been having nightmares. "Dirty operating coats, empty anesthesia buckets, missing ceiling tiles" that was one nightmare, the other was me missing my pre-op visit. I can't give you advise on how to calm down because our minds are just racing! You are going to do great and this is all going to be worth. The great thing is that we are all here to support eachother and share our fears and accomplishments. I wish you a safe surgery and speedy recovery! warm thoughts....Priscilla
