After 2 years finally a date!

It has been a long 2 years, but I finally have gotten a surgery date!! April 28th. I have to go in on the 23rd and get a Vena Cava filer put in first. Then at 5 a.m. on April 28th I have to be at the hospital for surgery!!! I am still in disbeleaf that it is happening!!

Well if I could spell that would help... It is a Vena Cava filter. Yes it is to prevent blood clots. People with a very high BMI are more suseptable to blood clots. This gets put in in Vena Cava veins. It looks like a little mesh umbrella. I am happy to have it. Anything I can do to help my recovery and keep me alive. Thank you for the warm wishes!! It is a crazy time right now, mu husband is graduating college 1 week 2 weeks after my surgery, then we have to move. I am still so excited though!!! I am having surgery, wooohooo!!!!

Congratulations!!! I waited over a year for my surgery date, and now that its 10 days away, I can't believe its actually happening!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!
