New April surgery patient here!

I just received news today that I have been approved by my insurance company Health Partners and a surgery date has been scheduled for April 19, 2004. I am so looking forward to being part of a cohort of people in the same stages as I am. Deana

WAY TO GO!!!! Congrats!! my surgery is April 7th pretty close to same time, i havent had any nervous incidents yet.. lol although i am worried about the weight part, my surgeon wanted me to maintain the weight i was at in the first appointment. (i've gained about 10 lbs) BUT i have also quit smoking!!!!!! (although that doesnt seem to make a difference to her in the weight loss thing lol) she's tough!! just the way i need it!! sooooooooooo i'm buckling down now.. not smoking, exercising and eating healthy for the remaining 3 weeks.. going to make a difference here!! My surgery is scheduled for the same day, April 19th. It still doesn't seem real but maybe if I say it enough times it will sink in. Good luck and I'll check in with you later.
