EXCITING Date Of April 8th, 2004 Woo Hoo~:sexy:

I am set for the date of April 8th for WLS. I know that I will have the Roux-en Y, and done Lap. It seems like it is a long time coming. I had to do a lot of leg work it seems like. I thought in December 2003 when I had my initial consultation, that the BTC would take care of everything...wrong... At any rate, the date is now set, and I hope for smooth sailing from here on ....... There were some documents missing, and some that were said to have never arrived, when I have the proof that they were... well, I suppose some spice has to be in everything we do eh? I am sorta scared, but I Know that I will benefit having this done. If anyone has any suggestions, or comments for me, please fwd... ~Aphrodite~

Well, Happy Birthday on the 8th of April~ I know that it is a ways to go yet, but it will be here before you know it! When or have you already had your pre op lab work done, and your nutrition class? My pre op lab work is on the 23rd of March, and my nutrition class is on the 25th of March. I am not looking forward to the lab work, all the needles poking me and all, but I know in the long run, it will be well worth it~ Any scared feelings? I do. Aphrodite~

I also have a surgery date of April 8th and looks like I'll be coming home on Easter. Not really nervouse about the surgery just the recovery and trying to take care of 3 kids. My family has been pretty supportive so I think all will go well. Looking forward to being able to do somethings this summer I haven't been able to in the past. I have my Pre-admission testing on 3/23 and everything should go smooth from there. Take care and keep in touch on the boards. Jen

Hey Jen, I know that you will be fine. I have 5 children, and I know that caring for them will be fine after surgery. Of course, in my opinion, my babies are the best! { Every mama's black birds are the blackest eh?} Good luck and have fun. Aphrodite~
