Anyone else April 6???

Ive lost my mind already I'm april 5th not 6th.

Yep, I've been scheduled for April 6th, too! I'm having the RNY. I'm in northern Colorado. Which surgery are you having and how long do you expect to stay in the hospital? My parents jus****ched a news program (20/20??) that talked about a surgeon that is going from state to state perfoming this surgery (badly), leaving damaged people behind but hospitals keep picking him up because this surgery is so popular. It scared them silly. Now they're all worried and my mom was crying Sunday night at her own birthday party. I'm not sure what I can do to reassure her. She's frail, herself, and will be 73 on Tuesday. I did my best to share excitement, optimism, and everything good about this. I wish they'd quit featuring the idiot doctors out there. There are a lot of them in other fields, too. I just told my folks to qui****ching the scary stories, because that's not the way mine is going to work out. I'm happy there are so many of us that will share a rebirth on the 6th. I asked my husband (in fun what he was giving up for lent. He hemmed and hawed. He asked me what I was giving up and I said, "My stomach." He just laughed and said he couldn't trump that! Be well everyone! ~Anna
