You are still here, oh good. I havent' been on in sooooooooooo long. But I had been with out a computer. I still don't have the internet but I have access at work sometimes. It sounds like we are all having some struggles right now with the weight coming back on. damn.... I have started as of yesterday following somethoing. It is in a post on here. I hope it works for me, I too feel bad about the gain.
I will talk to you later.

Its something everyone warned me about, but until it happens to me I don't think I was ready for it. I was told "This is just a tool, it doesn't fix your brain - just your stomach"
When I'm under stress - I want to turn to food. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
What I do that helps:
1. Talk to a therapist.
2. Journal my feelings - figure out what I'm really hungry for - often its not food.
3. Drink more fluids. (Some days it feels I'll just float away)
4. Do some kind of exercise - even if I don't want to.
Sending love and support

hello!
i was reading old posts and wondered how everyone was doing with this issue. it seem slike we all go through it. there has got to be something more that can be done to change this. but what? we need our doctors who know that we needed to have this surgery to help us lose the initial weight to help us do something more! what ? i dont have a clue but they found the surgery so now they have got to find the cure for this gaining back.
I'm working out but then threw my back out. can't go to the gym. i'm drinking so much water i feel like a fish. i'm maintaining but am so scared. maybe the fear is the key?
we all have this problem. there are some who are stronger and keep it to a minium. i want to get to my lowest weight of 157 again. i want to feel that way again. this 10 extra pounds aggravates me.
i chew so much gum my jaw hurts!
i throw away more food than i should even think about.
lets make 2007 the end of weight gain and the beginning of our using our pouch to its fullest!
good luck and god bles syou all.
Hi all: I have the same problem and I notice from all the posts we all had our surgeries in 2004. Anyone else catch this? I am trying to get my mind set again. I'm up 8 lbs from my lowest. The thought of protein drinks do nothing for me but the urge to throw up. The problem is I stay full with them. I can't find a protein that I can tolerate. The after tastes are awful. Since I stopped with them I have gained. Any suggestions on a protein powder that doesnt taste awful.
Thanks.... Cathy
