Topic: RE: Sagging Skin
Well short of a tt, theres not much else you can do for your tummy. I had read sometime ago to wear long tight spandex shorts like bicycle racers wear and a short pair of shorts over them, and T shirts, or tops with sleeves. mine are gross too, but if I dont wave and keep my arms close there not too bad, and the shorts are ok , but a bathing suite would be a no no without swimming shorts. I will have to save up to have these surgeries. Good luck, If someone has a good answer I would love to hear it too. Rosemary

I have to say my inner thighs and my stomach look like a sharpei. Not to mention I have the bat wings from hell. Unfortunately a side effect. But hey I'm healthy and feel great. If people don't like the way I look, they can look the other way. I am healthy and happy. That's whats important!!!

Are you kidding I would do it again tomorrow. I have went from a size 26 to a 10-12. I'm down 136 pounds and still dropping. Slowly, but still dropping. Even though I had a lot of problems after, i would do it again.

Hate to say this but there is really nothing to do but plastic surgery. Once the skin has lost its' elasticity it doesn't get it back. My inner thighs look like theatre curtains but I've heard that getting them fixed is very painful. Wish I had some good news for ya.

Topic: Weight loss
I have not lost any weight for about 6 months. I am pretty stable at the weight I am now. I had a tummy tuck 1 month ago. I still want to lose 10 pounds. Does anyone have an idea how to jump start this weight loss again? I am not cleared to exercise yet. It will be 2 more weeks. I exercised pretty constistantly before the tummy tuck, but this 10 pounds stayed. I have came to the conclusion that my body wants to be at this weight-however- I want to go lower. Another thing is that a friend of mine who had the surgery in Dec 03 has caught to me and I am so jealous because she will pass me up if I do not do something. I am so competive about this- I know I should not be. So - anyone have any ideas on how to lose this last 10 pound that is just hanging around? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Was this surgery worth it? Heck, YES!! Granted- I still struggle alot, but feel wonderful. I lost 100 ppound but would love to lose 10 more. I had a tummy tuck and lipo on my legs on June 14th and feel as it that will help and be the end results for me. I am still healing and having to take it slow, but I am amazed at how my body now looks. I still struggle with poor self body image, but am working on it. This has been a great thing for me. I love be able to fit into the cool clothes out there. I love feeling tiny when I hug my hubby, or stand near a friend who was smaller than me. This is great and I recommend it to anyone who needs it. I am confused to why a lot more do not consider this an option. This has been my saving grace..........

Worth it and more! I'm at a weight I haven't been at in 18 years! I've lost 147 lbs now. I eat whatever I want, some things i just DON"T want anymore. I love life.. and I love looking at my scar as it shrinks. I hate looking at my "before" pictures... they make me want to cry. I don't like that person she was hiding the real me! I am so glad to be free now.
