Topic: RE: PERSONAL - FOR LADIES ONLY!!!
I hadn't had a period for over a year, and it started the day I came home from the surgery. Then four weeks later I had another one. But haven't had one since. Weird!

Yes, Helen - Protein is the key. Try drinking 2 or 3 Adkins shakes per day. They are high in Protein and low in calories and carbs. And they taste pretty good too. I had my surgery 4/14 and my hair goes way past my waist. Do you think I would chance losing my glory locks?? Heck no! Take Care - Terra

Since you have so few bandsters here, I'll throw in my comparison: 1. Lap Band on April 11, 2003, 2. 39 and 5'5.5", 3. 303.5, 4. 246, 5. Swim Laps 4X/week for 35 to 45 minutes, stretch and run around after my 3 1/2 yr old daughter, 6. Somewhere between 140 and 150 hopefully.

This is really exciting for me ....I love hearing what others have lost. I am 33 years old and am 5'9. I had an open RNY on April 28th. My pre-surgery weight was 307 and I am currently 245. My exercise plans consists of playing basketball with my family. We play about four games twice a week. I am seriously thinking of purchasing an exercise bike so that I can increase my exercise. My goal weight is 145 lbs.
