Topic: RE: My first plateau I think? Help!!
Lee, That's not a bad loss for three months but I know it can be frustrating when the scale doesn't move. Have you tried what they call the Protien Train? You drink your water; Keep Your carbs down around 20 (I stay under 30); exercise 30 min a day(I still don't like it so I'm lucky if I get 20 min a day); and Keep your intake down ( I try to keep between 500-800 a day). Find out what works best for you. I know it sounds like work but after a while it becomes natural. Hang in there you never know when the scale might give you a surprise. (I sometimes feel the are Mischevious little gremlins in there). (HUGS!)

Lisa, Congratulations on your weight loss! I to can't take bread. Sometimes I can eat toast if I have a craving for it. Most of the time I just figure that's one Carbohydrate thing I don't need. Keep up the good work! (HUGS!)

Debbie, Congratulations on a great weight loss!! You must be doing the Happy Dance. Isn't it great crossing under that 200 mark on the scale. I just crossed under the 300 mark and can imagine how you must feel. Keep up the great work! (HUGS!)
Topic: My first plateau I think? Help!!
I'm just over three months out and have lost 51 pds. But I've been down 51 pds for a couple of weeks now. I weighed myself this morning and wham I haven't budged!! I don't think I eat enough. I eat very small meals only 3 or 4 times but I do drink a litre and 1/2 of water everyday. Help! Any comments?? on this.

Topic: RE: Pain
Thanks for replying...I went to my doctor on Thursday, and she said that this pain is pretty common. She said that it most likely it's a small muscle tear. She also said that's it's nothing to worry over, but not to over do it in the gym. Since I have all of this new found engery, when I work out I want to go hard at it. I have to remember that my body is still healing internally from MAJOR surgery and I have ease my way into it.

Topic: RE: slow weight loss
One week I only lost about 2 lbs and at over 300 I was loosing much more rapidly, I realized I had been drinking alot of apple juice, tomato juice and, juicy juice. This was adding about 600 calories a day to my intake because water was making me gag I was drinking aproximately 48 oz of juice. I stoped and normal weight loss resumed.
