Thanks for your input I appreciate it!! I'm thinking of joining curves soon and I know that will really get the rest off. I'm sure it'll all work out in the end. It sometimes gets slow though!! Thanks again, Lee Mott

Hi, Lee. I am almost 10 months out and have hit a plateau, also. And I can sympathize with you about thinking your pouch is getting larger. I went through the same thing at my 9 month checkup last month. My surgeon said that the pouch will stretch a little but not to what it was before. If you go back to the basics it will kick start your weight loss again but you need to exercise, too. Keep up the good work and you will lose that last 35 lbs. I never thought I would be normal sized but I am now and I love it, even though I still have another 20 lbs to lose! I was fat as a child and adult. This is the first time in my life I have been 'normal'. Susan McCluskey - Warner Robins, Georgia

Hi Lee, Don't be discouraged. I had my surgery 2 days after yours and I've had a couple times when my weight loss ha**** a plateau. I just try to excerise more and eat more protein and the next thing I know, I've lost 5 more lbs. I started at 265.5 lbs and I'm currently 158. I'm 5'4" also and just got into the first size 12 jeans I've worn in ages. It will pick up and you'll weigh soon and smile when you see a few more lbs have just dropped off. Lynne

Hey everyone!! Just posting to say I am truly amazed at this gift I have recieved. Can't beleive it. I am 10 months post-op as of the 8th. As to date I have lost 143 pounds and haven't seemed to hit a Plateau yet. I started at 382 and I now weigh 239. I am like alot of people on here I guess and am just waiting to be awoken from this awesome dream!! I have never been thin in my entire life and am looking so forward to know what it feels like. I am meaning to get up some new pics soon. This one is from October at 276. Anyways I read here all the time guys, I just don't post often. I love reading all of your posts. I myself do not have a support group within 140 miles of here, so this is a wonderful place.~JEN~
